A rare and very large medical grade brass mortar with Dolphin handles, after Dutch model, Dutch or Northern European, c. 1690-1700.

An elegant mortar with concenthric lines and a gothic design with the wide mouth and two dolphin handles applied at the waist. The mortar comes with the original pestle. Such a large size and fine execution mortar for the period, would have been made for a pharmacy.

Pair of English silver mounted flintlock holster pistols by Wilson, an early pair made rather shortly after 1730.

The pistols with walnut stock and finely engraved and chiselled silver. With spurred butt caps with chiselled grotesque masks. Wilson engraved on the locks and with London gun marks on the smooth barrels and silver marks as well. Silver mounted and tipped ramrods.

A lovely silver mounted powder flask in fine silver, Persian, c. 18th.-19th. century.

The pear-shaped flask very elegant and set with silver rosettes and large silver mounts, complete incl. chain to the stopper.

Interesting set of four attractive small 'bags' in brass with leather straps for holding bullits, Turkish / Persian, c. early-mid 19th. century (4)

A set of 4 very old and nicely patinated European Powderhorns, made of flat-pressed cowhorns, leather and wood, all can be dated around 1700-1762.

One horn is particularly interesting, with the upperpart carved as an animals mouth, with an engraving of a deer and inscribed and dated 1706!
Another horn is dated and initialized to 1762, but is probably an earlier horn with a 1762 dating.

A wonderful quality set of Taget pistols by French gun maker Aubry /Aubery Mousson, France, 19th. century.

Fantastic massive pistols with makers name in gold caligraphy on the lock. The stock ornately carved and the octagonal barrels and other metal parts still with original blueing. The metal parts also nicely engraved.

Length: c. 43 cm. massive and heavy!

Condition: VF-EF, almost invisible evidence of an old repair in the stock below the barrel of one pistol, ...

A lovely high quality flintlock pistol with 2-staged barrel in brass, London marks, made by Bate, late 18th. cent.

All brass construction except for the lock. The lock is marked "BATE", the top barrel flat at the breech end is marked "LONDON" and the left rear flat is marked with two crown over crossed scepter proofmarks. An early and sizable bronze mortar, Flemish / dated 1617!

Very attractive European renaissance mortar that comes with a pestle from the period. The mortar of the typical flemish design with the conical vessel, two zoomorphic handles and a wide rim. The mortar is finely decorated with archantus leafs and inscribed along the rim with LOF GODT VAN AL, AO 1617.

Size: 14,5 cm. wide over the rim, 12,8 cm. tall and the pestle is 23 cm. long. The combined weight about 3,6 kilogram...

A lovely massive baroque mortar of the largest size, used by farmacies, probably weighing c. 15 kilograms!

The conical mortar made with beatiful profiled concenthric decoration and a wide rim, below with high relief latin - SOLI DEO GLORIA, only for the glory of god, and dated 1748.

A huge white bronze / early brass mortar of the finest execution, likely apothecary, incl. pestle, Northern Europe, ca. 1690.

A nice early transition type of a later design that became popular in the 18th. century. Very elaborate and finely cast and with a nice colour.

Size: ca. 18 cm. from handle to handle, 17,3 cm. wide at the rim and 15 cm. tall. The Pestle is ca. 25,7 cm. long and the set weighs around 5 kilograms.

Important large 17 cm. bronze mortar with pestle, European, Flemish/Dutch or German, ca. 1500-1550.

Beautiful Gothic style, with widening body and fine zoomorphic lion handles. Very large size and done in an early bronze alloy, somewhat polished. Comes with very old pestle, possible from the 17th. century.

Beautiful Gothic style, with the square handles and lovely chiselled floral decoration. With the original large bronze pestle and both with a terrific dark bronze patina.

A fine antique apothecary mortar in beautiful early brass/bronze alloy, Northern Europe, dated in the bottom to 1734!.

A very large and usual early type brass mortar with a corrosponding pestle, very decorative and a nice antique for both display and kitchen use. Note the pecular wide upper part, which we haven't seen before and must have been made in a few early years only during the 18th. century.

A pair of extra large and heavy keys, dating 17th.-18th. century.

The keys with large oval bows, long stems, absence of collars and very peculiar bits. For very large locks.
