The attractive large upperpart of a very early Gothic incense burner, openwork style, c. 14th.-15th. century.

Impresive medieval antiquity! Dark bronze patina with signs of use inside. Lowerpart missing. Very rare!

A rare stoneware pitcher with salt glaze. Full-bellied shape with wide conical neck and flat handle. The base is festooned with “thumb” marks. The body is decorated with three medallions depicting a woman. A type called Trichterhalskrug in German. This stoneware pitcher was made in the Siegburg region in the 15th/16th century. It is covered with a fine salt glaze.

Size: 12,7 cm. tall.

Condition: Choice for the type...

An important and very interesting medieval floor tile, of a 13th.-14th. century English type, used in Noble houses, churches and monasteries in the period.

Size: 13,5-14 cm. on each side and very thick.

Condition: Intact and choice, with minimal detoriation of the glaze.

A lovely finial of an Eagles head, European, Gothic style, renaissance, c. 16th. century or earlier, mounted as a part of an attractive double iron coat hook and plate, dated 1823.

The substantial finial still with remnants of old gilt and the iron coat hook, finely dated and initialized in the late 18th. century manor. A nice marriage, probably made in the late 18th.-early 19th. century.

A late period, finely carved stone mortar in black basalt, Egypt, 664-332 BC.

A lovely piece with pyramidal tappering sides to a short rectangular base. Hollowed from extensive use.

Size: 116 mm. long and 76 mm. wide. c. 28-29 mm. tall.

Condition: Good Very fine and intact with tiny nicks and ancient wear.

A substantial and attractive vessel in pinkish travertine with fine inclusions, Uruk/Jemdet Nasr - Early Dynastic, 3300-2700 BC.

The bulbous vessel with a finely polished exterior and with a broad flat rim.

The stone used is a rare pinkish travertine with fosil remains and lighter cream inclusions, large areas of dark deposts and patina.

A large and attractive stone jar, Mesopotamia, Sumer c. 2800-2400 BC.

With the finely concave walls, similar to a jar found in the Royal tombs of Queen Puabi, 2600-2450 BC and jars from Jiroft in this period, dates this jar to the Sumerian period.

The stone used is a rare and very lovely pink calcite, some of the colour probably patina. the stone is banded in clear bands and semi-transperant when lighted. With cream inclusions.

A nice wooden mummy mask of a smaller size, probably late period, mid-late 1st. millenium BC.

Size: 20,7 cm.

Condition: Intact with smaller losses and much wear. Remnants of pigments still visible on the surface in recesses.

Provenance: Old Bavarian collection from the 1930s and onwards.

An interesting early Acorn top Laten spoon, English, London c. 1580.

Acorn top and having flat hammered stem and a round touchmark for London in the oval bowl.

Size: 16,2 cm. long.

Condition: Very fine, wear and nice patina with remnants of old silvering intact and strong.

Provenance: Private Collection of Bjørn De Roepstorff, an important Danish castle / mansion collection of Early European antiques.

A scarce and attractive laten spoon with figural top in an unusual condition with preserved gilding, English c. 1630.

The top with a half length female bust and having a wire ‘gulley’ down the flat and bevelled tapering stem and a round touchmark in the oval bowl. The touchmark unusually crisp with the three keys and the lettering for the maker in London.

The top with a cloaked figure standing, probably St. Andrews, interesting triangular stem and a round touchmark in the oval bowl. Interesting early type with complicated touchmark, but probably London.

These very large pricket canbelabras, probably for ecclesiastical use, doesn't come much better than this present pair. Stepped domed feet, baluster-shaped stems with flaring sockets...

A very beautiful and very large terracotta head of a young girl, Greece, Hellenistic period, c. 3rd.-2nd. century BC.

Exceptional details with the efeu wreath and elaborate headdress.

Size: 10,2 cm. tall and 8,5 cm. wide.

Condition: Very fine, partly corroded, but sound hard, ready to display.

A large Greek amphora handle, Rhodes, c. 3rd.-2nd. century BC.

The handle inscribed with a two line makers name / mark in Greek, fully readable.

A finely polished and fully symethric Egyptian stone jar made of a type of beautiful chlorite stone, 3rd.-2nd. mill. BC.

The jar was used to hold cosmethics in the 3rd.-2nd. millenium BC. Nice marks of drill inside, recessed footring and a tiny rim also carved!

Size: 35 mm. wide.
