Darkage-Viking silver pendant in a Lunar or crecent shape with a loop, c. 600-900 AD.

Attractive and wearable today with decorations on the surface.

Size: 26 mm. tall.

Condition: Intact.

With spherical body on short foot, the tubular neck with traces of engravings, the handle with beading and pomegranate thumb-rest, minor dents, hairline crack and a couple of small holes to body, but intact, overall patination to surface.

A substantial and interesting type of early Islamic vessel.

An interesting and well-engraved seal ring made of an alloy of bronze and silver end probably once gilt, Sasanian, c. 4th.-5th. century AD.

The ring engraved with a very nice enface portrait of a Sasanian king. Cleaned but retaining some patina. The ring has a closed hairline crack at the back, othervise intact.

Size: The ring is c. 25 mm. wide.

A terrific oversized bronze figural Bell, Luristan, c. 1200-800 BC.

The bronze Goat with exceptionally long curving horns and forelegs and with it's body evolving into a large openwork bell. Probably once with a small loop at the end, now lost.

Size: 13,6 cm. long and 9 cm. tall. A high unusual size for these which are normally quite small.

Condition: Near Extremely fine, but for the lost loop finial...

A fine lot of two later bronze age military weapons, Ancinet Near East 2nd.-1st. millenium BC.

Lance of a type used by the armies of the great Empires in the Ancient Near East of the 1st. mill. BC., fine glossy patina, tiny piece of the tip lost, 28 cm. and 2) a sturdy attractive bronze dagger with central midrip and very broad triangular blade. Excellent metal and intact. 25 cm.

A tanged 'Luristan' bronze dagger or short sword from Ancient Near East, Caspian Sea Area, Bronze age, dating Early-mid 2nd mill BC.

The dagger very heavy fabric sharp shoulders and slight raised midsection tappering to the sharp edges.

A very rare massive bronze mace head, Neo-Assyrian Empire, c. 9th.-8th. cent. BC.

More massive in construction than the typical 2nd.-1st. millenium BC mace heads with the solid socket being 4,5 cm. wide. Assyrian design, where the balance is at the very top of the mace head, which is ending in a wide hexagonal star of flat, sturdy projections. High quality weapon with finely detailed profiles and line engravings.

Interesting and very impressive massive armring, the bronze mixed with some silver to make a whiter alloy, Achaemenid or pre-Achaemenid period, ancient near east, 1st. mill. BC.

Thick and massive bracelet with complicated bimetalic design with twisted copper-wire, and larger twisted rods and ending in stylised animal heads. The bracelet with a lovely warm brown find patina.
