A very rare Neo Babylonian stamp seal with two engravings, dating to 800-600 AD. Typical Dome-shaped seal in agate from this period but with two engravings! This seal is engraved with a King standing on a boat on the stamp. On the side another engraving showing a worshipper or King standing in front of a seated divinity on a throne. Extremely rarely encountered seal unique and beautyful in well-worn agate with beautyful patina. Size: 21-22 mm. Ex. Danish Private Collection |
