A nice and rare hard blackstone stone cylinder seal, dating to 3300-2900 BC - the Jemdet Nasr period of predynastic Mesopotamia.
The seal is larger and depicts a row of stylized figures. The seal is completely uncleaned in the detail and the imprint will likely improve much when cleaned. Condition: Choice! Size: 31 mm. Ex. Swedish private collection, assembled in the 1960s from older European collection. |
