A Sassanian bronze bowl possibly for liquid, dating to the 3rd-5th. cent. AD.
The bowl is made of a special alloy of cobber and other metals, that made the bowl very hard. Wrought, not cast. Size: c. 143 mm. x 93 mm. Condition: Superb! - A gem. A part of the layer of dirt and encrustations was removed, and the bowl has wonderfully preserved surfaces. Beautyful redish brown tone under the dirt |
