A rare set of three Chinese terracotta tomb soldier, dating to the Ming dynasty, c. 14th.-16th. cent. AD.
We have handpicked a selection of exceptionally condition glaced and painted figures out of a large Chinese collection. Our figures are of a much better style and detail than most authentic figures on the market.
These figure are larger, 22-23 cm and depicts three soldiers, one is holding a pair of maces, another a sword in his left hand, and the soldier in the middle holds a fantastic shield with the head of a mythical beast on the shield-boss. They are dessed in detailed bodyarmor wuith helmets. Wonderful coloured glacing and pigments in green, yellow, red and black.
Condition: Superb! Exceptionally preserved set!
