A fine pair of two Chinese terracotta tomb soldiers, dating to the Ming dynasty (1368-1644 AD), these can be dated to c. 15th.-16th. cent. AD.
The pair is handpicked from a large collection of Chinese pottery. Our figures are of a much better style and detail than most authentic figures on the market.
These figures are larger, 22-23 cm and depicts two soldiers. One is holding a lance and the other holds a fantastic shield with the head of a mythical beast on the shield-boss. They are dessed in detailed bodyarmor with helmets. Wonderful coloured glacing and pigments in blue, torqoise, red & white.
