| Highly attractive Jamdet Nasr period Babylonian cylinder seal, dating c. 3000 BC. A thin seal, measuring 20 mm. in length and 9-10 mm. wide. The seal depicts figures and symbols, possible an alter. Very sharp! Condition: Choice! Beautyful black stone, uncleaned with yellow sand in the recesses. Ex Swedish private collection - purchased during the 1950s at Viktoria Lindströms Antikhandel, Stockholm. Her business card in the collection together with notes. Ex late 19th. century collection, note the old custom made brass mount with collection number (letter) hand-chiselled. | ||
