Chinese porcelain baluster VASE with blue & white peony flower decoration between lappet design around the base shoulder and rim. There is a double ring on the bases with no reign marks. Circa 1900-1920. Condition is excellent. Height is 10.25" (26 cms.) and the diameter of the rim is 5 inches (12.7 cms.)

A transitional (1640-1680) Chinese porcelain BEAKER VASE with an inscribed dragon motif around the circumference of the vase with a Blanc de Chine white glaze. Condition is quite good although there is a 3/8 of an inch hairline crack in the rim (inside & out) and slight glaze chip on the rim as well. Otherwise in good condition. Circa: 17th Century. Height is 8 inches (20.7 cm) and width at rim is 4.75 inches (12 cm)

An unusual Chinese sang-de-boeuf glazed baluster VASE, because it was "misfired, with iridescent flecking," as per Christies, see "Asian Works of Art," catalogue, LA, 10/06/2000 Lot# 204, pg. 55.The body above a spreading foot with a long ribbed neck leading up to the flaring rim; the interior with a faint CELADON glaze.
