Chinese Tang Dynasty (618-905) stonewear phosphatic brown glazed EWER. The ovoid body set on the high shoulder with two loop handles applied at the base of the neck between the short conical spout and the double strap handle, covered with a dark brown glaze highlighted by splashes of milky blue glaze draining from the neck, the top of the canted rim wiped clean and the interior of the neck glazed brown. Chinese stonewear (tea) BOWL with black Cizhou glaze applied thickly over the finely potted cup with a slightly everted rim. Song Dynasty. There are some "losses" as expected with some scratching on both the inside and outside of the cup. No apparent chips cracks or restorations. Diameter is 4.75 inches (12.2 cms) and height is 2 7/8 of an inch or (7.4 cms.) Note: the "red" color in the photographs are a reflection!

Large Chinese pottery Chizou VASE with archaic handles and lobed body with a soft cream thick glaze overall. Very well modeled with distinctive handles which were based upon earlier metallic shapes in Shang and Zhou dynasties. Chinese Longquan celadon DISH, well modeled with a soft pale blue-green glaze applied overall except the very thin foot rim which shows a buff colored biscuit color. There is a faint band around the outside of the dish near the rim. There is a small (size of a wooden match head) area inside the cavetto (see photo) where the glaze did not adhere. Otherwise in good condition. Circa: Southern Song Dynasty, 13th Century. Dimensions: Diameter is 5 1/16 inches or 12.2 cms.
