Korean 10-sided "HONEY POT" or "seokganju" or "oja" are the most uniquely 'Korean' of pots. This particular example (#3 of 5) is larger than the other three and is darker in color. It's base is also less indented than the other 5 honey pots available on this site. This comes with its original lid. A rare Korean octagonal porcelain Blue & White BOTTLE (vase) decorated with an autumn flower. Yi Dynasty, 18th/19th Century. Condition: There are general overall glaze scratches and some rubbing on the ribs in addition to some small hairline glaze cracks about 3/4 of an inch (2 cm) in length both inside and outside the neck rim and there are some "glaze pulls" that occurred during the firing process near the base on 4 of the 8 sides. (see photos) Dimensions: height is 10 5/8" (27 cm)

Korean Whitewear JAR with 2 different blue drawings of grapes & vines on the shoulders in ovoid form. There are 5 hairline cracks in the neck; as well as two "kiln cracks," about 3" in length between the neck and the shoulder (along the seam) and an additional similiar crack between the footrim and the body. None of these detract from the beauty of the shape, glaze and paintings. There are no cracks in the body of the Jar itself...

Korean CELADON BOWL with a molded lotus flower design. Although this looks to be damaged in the pictures, it is not. The "rim chip" is glazed over and even though there are some protrusions which are the result of firing inconsistencies in the kiln because of the clay and the slip applied....this is an authentic affordable Korean late 12th century - Koryo celadon BOWL.
