| Two (2)miniature IKO made in Japan. Just like the larger IKO which were originally used to hang & display Kimono; these smaller (but painstakingly made to the same proportions) IKO's can now be used for jewelry to hang necklaces and earrings in a unique and tasteful way! J-89 has mother of pearl inlay and J-90 has three painted cranes on the bottom panel. (see photographs) Both have metal (brass) hinges and both have the same dimensions. They are 24" in height and a total of 30" in width, although they do need to be bent in the middle to stand up, so the real width is between 23" to 15" Circa pre 1960's. Condition excellent, some very slight chipping (as expected due to the age.) Note: necklaces shown in photos are NOT included. | ||
