| Korean Whitewear JAR with 2 different blue drawings of grapes & vines on the shoulders in ovoid form. There are 5 hairline cracks in the neck; as well as two "kiln cracks," about 3" in length between the neck and the shoulder (along the seam) and an additional similiar crack between the footrim and the body. None of these detract from the beauty of the shape, glaze and paintings. There are no cracks in the body of the Jar itself. The off-white (cream) color of the jar is typical of this type and age of Korean porcelain. Height is 8" (20.5 cms.) and the diameter at the shoulder is 8.5" (21.5 cms.) Circa: 18th Century. | ||
