One SAGGER and two (2) CELADON POTTERY SHARDS from a kiln site along the left bank of the Ping River in Si Satchanalai, Thailand. These two shards can be used reliably to help identify and verify AUTHENTIC celadon ware from the 15-16th Century! One shard is 2.5" x 3.5" and is 1/2" thick and the other is the bottom of a bowl 2.25" x 2.25" with an incised circular design in the cavetto; which also shows a "lotus" ribbed design on the outside. The footrim (unglazed) is also visible. These are highly recommended for anyone even thinking about going to Thailand and planning on buying, "authentic," antique celadon ware.
