| An original watercolor by a famous Burmese artist, Tin Aung Htaik, of a Buddhist Temple in PAGAN BURMA (850-1200 AD) The temple (which has some of the oldest paintings in Pagan) is located in the old walled cityand it's names "Pa-hto-tha-mya," which is "...this Mother of Theravada Temples, so full of beauty without and scholarship within," said G.H. Luce. Looking west towards the main entrance which was facing East. Medium size, 15 x 11 inches. Good condition. | ||
