| Large Iranian (PERSIA) COPPERware VESSEL with foliate rim, narrow neck, wide body and base and strong handle. Originally hand-made and used by the nomadic tribes of Iran to milk camels and goats! No decoration except a few rings where the neck joins the body. Wonderful patina and a few shallow dings (see pix #3) as to be expected with an antique piece that was used for what it was made! Height is 15 inches or 38.1 cms and the diameter of the rim is 5.4 inches or 13.7 cms and the bottom diameter is 10.3 inches or 26.1 cms. Circa: late 19th/early 20th Century. | ||
