| Carl Kempe Chinese Ceramics, # 185, a porcelain water pot or BRUSHWASHER "Ko" or "Ge" type, rectangular with contracted lip and beveled foot-rim with thick greyish-white glaze with wide dark crackle. There is some "golden thread and iron wire." (See picture) Provenance: There is a round label "Peter Boode, Chinese Antiques, London," and a yellow and red CK # 185 label on bottom as well as a small orange label "404." Purchased at Sotheby's in Paris, France, Lot #91. Condition. Excellent. Some very slight discoloration near the foot rim. Dimensions: height 1 5/8 inches (4.1 cms.) and length 3 9/16 inches (9 cms.) CIrca: Ming Dynasty according to Bo Gyllensvard, 1964. | ||
