A hidasuki style Bizen flower vase, known as tsurukubi (neck of a crane) by the noted living national treasure, Isezaki Jun (1936~). The Isezaki family, were the pioneers in innovating the way Bizen wares were produced furthering its artistic qualities. Now, Bizen along with the old kilns in Japan is appreciated by tea and ceramic connoisseurs in Japan and outside.
