A lively and humorous scroll of an otafuku throwing beans at two demons. The theme is related to the most important holiday in the Japanese calendar which is Setsubun during the first week of February. Setsubun is the season where the Japanese officially purify themselves of all defilements accumulated in the past and to start anew with good fortune.
