| Pair of Antique Paste Earrings Circa 1830 - 1840 European. A truly wonderful pair of antique paste earrings. The green stones are amazingly emerald-like, and the surrounding paste stones are similar to single cuts. The clear paste is of the greyish, variety. Not shimmering or modern-looking stones. The green paste looks very much like an emerald, in cut and color. Silver with 18K gold original back to front wires. Upon your request, these wires can be replaced by the more conventional wires of today. Green cushion-cut center stones surrounded by single cuts (closed back). Each earring is 5/8 inch high and 3/8 inch wide. 7/8 inch long with 18K gold wire. 3.6 gr. 2.3 dwt. In pristine original condition. This pair is transitional from the Georgian to Victorian era. Quite rare, and wonderful. | ||||||||
