| Antique Hand-Carved and Hand-Painted Oval Mirror Circa. 1880 - 1890 Germany Made towards the end of the 19th Century in the region between France and Germany. The hand-carving on this mirror is something that we rarely ever see. The intricacy and quality of the work is wonderful. The painting is also of the highest caliber. Leaves, berries and flowers....all entwined and painted in purples, mauve, and green. Gold and brown accents. The mirror with frame measures 44 inches high and 32 inches wide. The mirror itself, which might not be the original glass, measures 26 inches high and 16 1/2 inches wide. Extraordinarily beautiful. In excellent original condition. No damage whatsoever.
