| Pair of Antique Sterling Silver Salts Circa. 1897 British 4 hallmarks distinguish each of this matching pair of sterling silver master salts. The pair date to 1897, per one of the hallmarks, but the look is certainly "deco" although the pair were made decades earlier. There are some salt marks on the bottom of the base, otherwise, both are in excellent condition Each measures 4 inches wide, from end of handle to end of handle. 1 1/4 inches high and 1 3/4 inches deep. 56.1 gr. 36.0 dwt. Today, both can be used to hold packets of sweeteners, mints, etc. | |||||||||
