A divine, smiling SHAN STATE BRONZE BUDDHA subduing Mara position, sitting on a high stepped throne. Good condition overall, has some naturally formed verdigris patina and very little soil remnants. Size: height 16 cm x width at base 9.5 cm. (6 1/4" x 3 3/4"). Very fine Buddha statue!

Superior quality wooden Opium Pipe with Jade end and mouthpiece. 19th Century, China. Paktong, copper and brass saddle depicting bats and finely inlaid with various cabochons (colors are green, orange, red, gray and blue). A nice stoneware original bowl which is clearly marked. Very good condition and no restorations. Size: 21.5" (53.5cm) long. Provenance: Serious French Collector's Estate.

Serene Bronze Buddha subduing Mara, SHAN STATE Burma, 18/19th Century, very nice smooth patina, seated on a high-stepped throne, which tapers off towards the top and is a noteworthy characteristic of Shan artists, very good condition, no restorations, Size: H. 15.5 cm x W. 7.5 cm x D, 5 cm.

A rare and splendid genuine Ming Dynasty Tomb Pottery Horse bending it's head down with a seated musician playing the cymbals. This is one of the earliest Ming pieces, ca. 1400 A.D., depicting a beautiful and elegant horse with fine modeling. The horse's neck is arched and it's mane and tail are glazed in a rare and vibrant turquoise color. The musician's head is removable and his robe is painted in rich cobalt blue, red and turquoise pigments...

Rare sparkling white marble carving of Buddha subduing Mara, very serene and in excellent condition, 19th Century, Shan State, size H.31cm x W.19cm x D. 6cm excluding stand. This item has been nicely mounted on a black stand.

Exceptionally fine and well cast bronze 18th Century Ganesha sculpture from Southern India with many details and a wonderful natural patina, clearly showing Puja (long term worship of object). Very good condition with one tine of trident missing from long ago (not recent loss). Superb specimen and rare because of it's size, i.e. H. 4.5" (11.6 cm.). Provenance: European Private Collection.

An important and rare KANGXI Period Blue & White KLAPMUTS Porcelain Bowl potted with deep rounded sides rising to an everted rim. The exterior depicts a delightful landscape scene with children and maidens possibly at the "Yuan Xiao" Lantern Festival. The interior of the bowl has a scene with a playful boy throwing a good luck fire cracker in the center and is decorated with a Lingzhi flared border design. The foot of the bowl is also flared and has a double circle...

A stupendous INDO-PERSIAN MUGHAL KHANJAR DAGGER with a particularly beautiful damascended PAMOR Design Blade, terminating in a fine triangle of overlaid Gold Foliage decoration. The wonderfully shaped Silver Grip is exquistely crafted as a massive 3-dimensional Lion's head. The dominant dense Pamor pattern resembles the irregular annual rings of a large and older tree trunk. Comes with a blue textile scabbard. Size: 14" (36 cm.). Late 18/19th Century.

Delicate and rare Chinese Porcelain Polychrome Cachepot Planter with matching Base Saucer. Both have 4 Character Tao Kuang Period Markings (1822-1850). Planter has 2 holes for drainage. This rare piece, exquisitely suited for an orchid in bloom or special small plant comes with it's own fine and original hand carved rosewood stand as illustrated. A very beautiful schist head of a Bodhisattva, 2-4 Century AD, with soft, youthful features, wearing a diadem with rosettes. The hair is pulled up into an elaborate top knot, urna between the eyebrows. Acquired on the London (UK) Art Market prior to 1980. Mounted on a Museum Quality metal stand. Size of head alone: 12.5 cm. (5"), excluding stand. Very fine condition.
