Hand carved Baroque polychrome wooden cupid angel, typical chubby features of the period. Original black and red patina with gilding. Gilded Wooden Cupid Angels, Baroque, fine work, found in Burma, but with obvious European influence as Burma was a British colony at that time, mounted on gilt antique wooden base/stands. 19th Century, size of angel only: H. 33cm x W.29 cm x D. 21cm including wings (with base: 46x21x21 excluding wings), good condition considering age, but some aging/not perfect and very rare, price shown is per angel, not the pair.
