Rare silver OPIUM PIPE Tweezers/Needle, often also used in Persia and S-E Asia with short opium pipes, 19th Century, nice condition. Size 8" (20 cm.). This item was made for dual use, i.e. one end served as tweezers, the other as a pointed needle for cleaning. A true find for collectors!

A well proportioned 19th Century Mandalay Alabaster Buddha in the less common reclining position, representing the passing of Lord Buddha into Nirvana after his death. A very attractive collector's piece and a good example of the artistic skills of the well known sculptors of Mandalay. There are traces of paint which underline the features and pleats of the robe.
