A stunning and rare KHANJAR PERSIAN DAGGER, double-edged sharp curved blade of watered WOOTZ STEEL with medial ridge and keened point. The forte is chiseled in low relief on each side. The gilded steel hilt and scabbard are masterfully engraved with foliage and cartouches depicting human figures and various animals. Very rare and in good overall condition. Size: L. 16", blade 10.5" (L. 41.5 cm., blade 27 cm.). Weight: 419 gr. A fine Collector's piece!

A rare LAOTIAN BRONZE BUDDHA IN DEEP MEDITATION (MARA VIJAYA). Difficult to find genuine Bronze Buddhas from Laos as most were made of wood because of the high cost and especially in this pose/position. Very good condition overall, late 18th Century. A very rare Giant Size Dry Lacquer Buddha Head on a custom made base (can be removed), Shan State, Burma, 19th Century. Very nice smooth Patina, some inconsequential wear, especially to individual hair curls, but excellent overall condition as shown. The Ushnisha or Flame on the top of the head is removable and most likely from a later date as is typical of such venerated Buddha images. Guaranteed 19th Century. A very Handsome and Young BRONZE SCULPTURE OF AN ADOLESCENT, sculpture-volume after an Antique Model, mounted on a custom made stone base. Unknown 19th Century Artist. Size: H. 26 cm. x 15.5 cm. without the base. Weight: ~ 10 kgs. (~ 22 lbs.). Original was found in Marathon, Attiki in 1925 and dates 340-330 B.C. depicting a winner in an athletic event wearing a crown of victory; also called "Adolescent of Marathon".
