Rare and beautiful Cholula Mexican archaeological mounted head of Jaguar (Puma or Panther?), hollow terracotta with traces of orange pigment. Very good condition, no cracks nor restorations. Size: D. 5 cm. x H. 4 cm. x W. 5 cm. Cholula is the name of an archaeological site in Puebla-Tlaxcala Valley, Mexico. Cholula reached it's height during the Late Classic Period AD. 600-900, but was inhabited as of 1000 B.C. We are also offering a Cholula Figural Head of God/Deity on this website (item# 1097994)
