QING Dynasty OPIUM PIPE with bats, gems and jade

A collector's QING Dynasty Opium Pipe made of wood with both ends in jade. The saddle is made of paktong, copper and brass (very attractive detailed 3-tone workmanship) depicting bats and finely inlaid with numerous semi-precious cabochon stones such as jade etc. (exact colours are green, orange, red, grayish and blue). The damper/bowl is stoneware and clearly marked.
Excellent condition, no repairs or restorations. Length: 53.5 cm (21.5"). 19th Century, China. Definitely a superior quality opium pipe and fine collector's piece, reminiscent of these times. Provenance: Serious French Collector's Estate.
