| An Imperial Russian railway jeton.The Jeton made of Gold Silver and enamel work.The front panel showing a locomotive bordered by enamel sections in the Russian colours and dated 1913.The reverse showing a camel bordered by three Green enamel sections.All set into a Silver mount with suspension loop.The center section fully marked with the 56 zolotnik standard.Most likely made to commerate the opening of a section of railroad and presented as a gift to a worker or engineer.Jetons such as these would be worn from a jacket lapel and would grant the owner free passage on their journey.Size 30mm.Condition is good | ||
