You are considering a very attractive and rare ancient biblical Iron Age I terracotta incense burner stand with a high hollow base
These stands or chalices, as they are sometimes called(though it seems unlikely that they were used for drinking), are wheel made and consist of a bowl resting on a hollow foot, which widens into a round base. Our stand belong to the Iron Age I, as indicated by their characteristics stepped bases, such stands were also common in the Late Bronze Age Their function as incense burners is suggested by the Egyptian wall reliefs from the New Kingdom, which depicted the conquest of Canaanite cities. In these scenes, a Canaanite is shown standing on the city wall holding such vessel, from which rise flames or incense smoke(see the picture).
