ANCIENT ROMAN HERODIAN WATER BOILER JAR,37BC-70AD

From Jerusalem, ancient biblical Roman Herodian terracotta water boiler jug with burning marks "soot" on the side. The Jug is nicely made in a globular body with circular lines around the body and a ring base.

Dated from, 37 BC - 70 AD "Time of Jesus and King Herod the Great"

Measurements: Height: 19 cm - Height on stand: 22.5 cm _ Diameter: 15 cm

Condition: Handle/Neck professionally repaired otherwise intact

Found near Bethlehem south of Jerusalem, Holy Land
