Directly from Jerusalem, ancient biblical historically important bronze coin "Prutah of Pontius Pilate. Minted in 30 AD. (Minted the very year of Christ’s Crucifixion & Resurrection)

This beautiful coin is nicely mounted on a sterling silver pendant

Pilate was the only procurator to mint coins with symbols offensive to the Jews. This coin has a libation ladle (simpulum) on the reverse, which is a fairly frequent symbol from the Roman religion of the time, the simpulum was a utensil used by the priests during their religious ceremonies
