| This graceful pair of Mamluk Revival Islamic vases have two different Islamic calligraphy cartouches with simple foliate medallions in between. There are also chain details encircling the vase near the top and bottom, as well as semi medallions ringing the bottom. They are the same size, obviously from the same maker, but like many Islamic hand crafted items, are not an exact match. The vases measure 12" tall and 4.5" across and weigh *** ounces each. These were made in the 1960's for the tourist trade. | ||
