TASMANIAN COLONIAL FIDDLEBACK BLACKWOOD WORK BOX Measures: 31 cm w x 13cm h x 23.5cm d Mid 19th Century. A good quality colonial fiddleback blackwood veneered work box having a fitted tray and shargreen blue leatherette. It has original lock and key. The secondary timber is Australian cedar and dates from the 1850's. The box has its original 19th century polish and good patination.
