TASMANIAN COLONIAL CEDAR CHIFFONIER Measures: 108 cm w x 140 cm h x49 cm d Early19th Century. A fine early Tasmanian Egyptian Influence cedar chiffonier, featuring well figured cedar throughout.Tasmanian huon pine secondary timber. The back has cross banding along the very top of the arch and the facing edges of the bench top, a shaped front drawer, wonderful book matched door panels flanked by fine tapering obelisk shaped columns sitting on a plinth base. Well figured grain cedar to the sides of the chiffonier. circa 1840.
