Mission

Twistofates Emporium displays paintings and sculptures by artists living in México and Central America along with some unusual indigenous folk art collected over several decades of traveling and working in the area. Most of these items are “one of a kind” and purchased for a unique characteristic found in the item or the artist rather than its antique or speculative value.

What You May Find

We don’t specialize in anything. If we see a piece that is Latin ”outside art”, falls within our budget and tweaks our senses for one reason or another we buy it. Our display ranges from contemporary oil paintings by outside artists living in Mexico and Central America to unusual primitive wood carvings by indigenous inhabitants, some of which have religious or mystical significance and others are just for decoration
