| Originally from Ohio, the artist Peter Wood has made a name for himself as an outside artist. Working from southern Mexico for years, he has developed his style, using fingers and six tubes of paint, into something uniquely Peter Wood. Using revolutionaries and archetypes as subjects, Mr. Wood has shown that a formal artistic education is not a requirement for success in painting; in fact, his decades of travel and experimentation have proven to be all he needs to make an impact on the art world. This particular painting was acquired several years ago from Mr. Wood while the collector was in southern Mexico. Mr. Wood's art rarely comes to the market, and this piece would be a wonderful addition to any collection.
