A beautiful Narino polychrome vessel from Colombia, ca. 750 - 1250 AD. This lovely Piartal cultural complex vessel is 6-3/4" in diameter, 5-3/4" high and is the largest poporo (lime container) form I've ever had. Vivid colors, good mineral deposits, with an expertly restored break on the underside not visible. Cf. Labbe “Colombia Before Columbus”, page 165. |
