| A choice Moche canchero from Peru, ca. 200 - 500 AD. This beautiful ceremonial dipper is 10-1/2” long and is decorated with the superbly detailed head of a monkey deity. The lentoid chamber is 6-3/4 in diameter and is decorated with a star design surrounding the opening, perhaps representing Venus. An exceptional example with strong paint and mineral deposits. | ||
