| A rare Nazca canteen from Peru, ca. 500 – 700 AD. This choice example is 8-1/2” high and is topped with a spout in the form of a human head, typically thought to be female. One side is dark brown, the other cream colored, a reflection of the male/female duality motif. Perfect, with good mineral deposits and highly burnished slip. | ||
