| A fine Polychrome Mayan Bowl from Guatemala, Late Classic Period, ca. 550-900 AD. This is a wonderfully created vessel, painted overall in orange ground with repeat glyphs underneath a nicely executed set of red lines. Thin walls. Minor paint loss as expected. Affordable example of an exciting style and very large at 7-1/8"H and 7-3/4"D. One pressure crack underneath. | ||
