| A wonderful little Mayan female figure from the El Baul area of Guatemala, ca. 550 - 800 AD. The deep-set, skull like features of the head show this to be an image of a deceased person. This seated effigy is 4" high, made from dark orange terra cotta and was most likely buried to be a companion for its owners journey through the Underworld. | ||
