| A magnificent Chimu Crustacean effigy bottle from Peru, ca. 1100 – 1450 AD. This superb example is 8-3/4” high and depicts an 8" long shrimp with anthropomorphic facial features. It is sculpted in wonderful detail and the burnished slip shows extensive mineral encrustation and tracks. A minor repair to the spout does not show. Rare type! | ||
