rare highly collectible Japanese Meiji Period Sumida Gawa Okimono of two Judo (karate) fighters, signed by Ryosai. One man is on the ground and another one has his hand up ready for a punch. Hands and legs are made with unglazed porcelain with iron oxidation, immitating skin color. The okimonos of fighters have unglazed various color of enameling. It has no damages and no losses. 9 1/2" tall x 6 1/2" wide x 5" deep.

Very fine museum quality Japanese Meiji Period (1868-1912) tripod Satsuma Teapot, signed by an artist. The Teapot has a panoramic scene with two men, two children, and two women in beautifully kimonos with slightly raised decorations, and various scholar objects around people.
