This is a Japanese HIRADO mini koro in a shape of a goose with an open mouth and fine details. The koro has a removable cover (once the incenses are being burn the smoke comes out through the goose’ beak). The details are so fine that you can even see a tongue of a goose. There is a traditional for Hirado iron oxidation on the edge of the glazing on the bottom of the koro. This detailed koro is in excellent condition with no chips, losses, or damages. It dates 19th century, Japan, and measures 3 inches by 2 inches.
