| Japanese Meiji Period (1868-1900) Satsuma Vase, with Shimazu cross and signature of the artist. It has magnificent raised enamel and finely painted flower blossoms over branches with leaves and red smaller blossoms with branches of Sakura on top white blossoms. The top of the vase is finely decorated with symbolic waves and unusual shaped stripe lines and gosu-blue color on the top of the neck. 12 1/2" tall x 8 1/2" D | |||||||||||||||
