Japanese Meiji Period fine multi-metal gold, silver and shakudo inlaid bronze Nagoya Koro on four feet with a finial in a shape of Kirin, signed by the artist. The Koro has two handles. The patina is of original green-brown color. There are three silver and gold inlaid cranes with shakudo plants and water over the front of the koro. There is a sea-scape with coast lines, one with shakudo trees, another with shakudo mountains.
There are symbolic silver inlays over the sides of the body and wonderful silver and shakudo decorations throughout the Koro. The kirin has gold inlaid body and eyes. The Koro is signed (with an engraved seal). It comes with a wooden stand. It is 4" tall w/out the stand x 2 3/4" wide x 2" deep.
