| Big real original (not a later copy) Eskimo Scrimshaw Cribbage Board , carved from walrus task. The top of the task has a carved cribbage board with scrimshaw of four seals lying on ice. The right side of the task is decorated with four scrimshawed deer; the left side of the task is decorated with scrimshaw of two rabbits, two bears, a dog and other creatures. The back of the task is decorated with scrimshaw of a map of a local Northern coast where Eskimos walrus hunters live. Please see the pictures. It has an original age patina and some age hairlines, a beautiful hand-polishing; 22 3/4" long x 4" wide x 2 1/4" tall. | |||||||||||||||
