| Japanese Meiji Period (1868-1912) Porcelain unusually shaped Vase by Makuzu Kozan. It is finely decorated and is made with iron oxidation color dragon on uneven tone-changing red to white background. The glaze on the bottom of the vase is worn but it still shows a signature of Makuzu Kozan. The signature is seen but it is hard to photograph it.The same signature is shown on page 128, Figure B. 22 of the Master Pottery of Meiji Japan by Clair Pollard. 12" tall x 6 1/2" D. | |||||||||||||||
